What I collect. If you register interest in the book: your name, your email, where you heard about it, whether you live in Australia and, only if you choose to give it, your LinkedIn profile. If you asked me for a copy directly, in a message or on LinkedIn, I note your name, email and which book, the same way. If you buy the book: your name, email, shipping address, what you ordered, the name you want it signed to, and any code you used. This site does not use advertising trackers.

Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe on Stripe’s own checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe and never reach this site or me.

Why. To write to you about ordering, to post your book and tell you when it’s on its way, and (only if you opted in at checkout) to let you know occasionally about the book and my talks. I look at the LinkedIn profile, if you give one, only so I can write to you properly.

Where it’s kept. In Stripe’s systems, and in a private database behind this site (Supabase). When you register, I’m sent a short email about it (through Resend). Nothing is sold or shared with anyone else.

How long. I delete your shipping address once your book has been delivered. I keep your name and email until you ask me to remove them. Stripe keeps transaction records as it’s legally required to.

Emails. Registering means one personal email from me about ordering, one when the book is on Amazon and, once you have your copy, one asking what you thought of it. Anything more only if you opted in, and every email can be answered with “stop”.
